You can create an account by clicking on the 'Register' button on the home page. You'll need to provide your full name, ID number, phone number, email address, postal address, and create a secure password. After registration, you'll receive a verification email to confirm your account.

Sacco Hisa Market offers two account types: Free and Premium. Free accounts allow you to browse the marketplace, view listings, and make limited trades. Premium accounts unlock advanced features including personalized dashboards, priority alerts, premium calculators, exclusive investment opportunities, and access to auction portfolio management.

You can upgrade to Premium by visiting the Upgrade page in your dashboard. We offer flexible plans including Daily (Ksh 20/day) and Monthly (Ksh 150/month - currently at 50% discount!). Payment is deducted directly from your wallet balance. Once upgraded, you'll get immediate access to all premium features.

Account registration and browsing are completely free. We charge a small transaction fee (5%) only when you successfully complete a sell trade on our platform. Premium account users enjoy additional features and tools for a small subscription fee.

KYC (Know Your Customer) is a mandatory verification process required by regulations to prevent fraud and money laundering. You'll need to upload a clear photo of your National ID card (front side) and your KRA PIN Certificate. This ensures the security of all transactions and protects both buyers and sellers on our platform.

You'll need to upload two documents: (1) A clear photo of your National ID Card (front side) in JPG or PNG format, and (2) A clear photo of your KRA PIN Certificate (downloadable from the iTax portal). Both documents must be clear and readable. PDF files are not accepted.

KYC verification typically takes 15-30 minutes. Our system automatically verifies your documents against KRA records. In some cases where manual review is required, the process may take 2-3 business days. You'll receive a notification once your verification is complete.

Our platform offers three main types of investments: Sacco Stocks Auctions for unquoted SACCO Share Capital with special discounts, Private Debt Sales for secure debt trading, and Private Float Offers for exclusive capital farming opportunities. You can also browse the Marketplace for direct share purchases and sales.

You can buy shares by browsing the Marketplace or Auctions section. Select the stock you're interested in, review the price and quantity, and place your order. Once matched with a seller, the transaction will be processed and the shares will be added to your portfolio. You'll receive a trading certificate as proof of ownership.

To sell shares, navigate to your Portfolio, select the shares you want to sell, and create a sell order. You can also list shares through our Auction system for competitive bidding. Once a buyer is found, the transaction will be processed and funds will be credited to your wallet.

The Marketplace offers direct buy/sell orders at fixed prices, ideal for immediate transactions. Auctions feature block orders with special discounts where buyers place competitive bids. Auctions often offer better value for larger quantities and can include significant discounts of up to 30% off market value.

Share prices are determined by market dynamics—supply and demand from buyers and sellers on our platform. Current market prices are displayed in real-time, and historical price data is available through our price history feature to help you make informed investment decisions.

You can deposit funds by visiting the Funds Management page and clicking the 'Deposit' button. First, make a payment via the M-Pesa link provided, then add the M-Pesa transaction details to complete the deposit. Funds are typically credited to your wallet within a few minutes after verification.

To withdraw funds, visit the Funds Management page and click 'Withdraw Request'. Select your preferred payment method (Bank Transfer or Mobile Money), enter the amount and your account details, then confirm with your password. Withdrawal requests are processed within 24-48 hours.

Your Wallet Balance is the main account used for regular trading and platform fees. The Auction Balance is a separate account specifically for auction-related activities. Funds in your Auction Balance can be withdrawn to your main wallet through the 'Withdraw Auction Funds' feature.

Funds from completed trades are available for withdrawal immediately after the transaction is finalized. For auction sales, funds are released after the buyer completes payment and the trading certificate is verified. Always check the terms of each offer before investing.

You can view your portfolio by clicking on the 'Portfolio' link in your dashboard. Your portfolio displays all your holdings, including stock quantities, average buy prices, current market values, and profit/loss calculations. You can also track shares pending transfer to Sacco custody.

A Trading Certificate is an official document issued for each completed trade, serving as proof of your share ownership. You automatically receive a certificate for every completed transaction. You can view, download, and print your certificates from the Certificates section of your dashboard.

Your Trading Portfolio holds shares available for regular market trading. The Auction Portfolio is a separate account where shares are reserved for auction listings. When you list shares for auction, they're moved from your Trading Portfolio to your Auction Portfolio, where they remain until sold or the listing is cancelled.

Sacco Custody is a secure service that allows you to transfer your shares to official Sacco custody for safe keeping, dividend collection, and corporate action management. Shares in custody are still owned by you but are held securely by the Sacco, and you can request to transfer them back to your trading portfolio at any time.

You can transfer shares to Sacco Custody by visiting the 'SACCO Custody Request' page. Select the stock you want to transfer, specify the quantity, provide a reason for the transfer, and submit your request. Pending requests will be reviewed and approved within 3-5 business days.

Yes, you can transfer shares back from custody to your trading portfolio at any time. Visit the 'Transfer from Custody to Portfolio' page, select the shares you want to transfer back, and complete the transfer. The shares will be available in your portfolio immediately.

You can view all upcoming and ongoing AGMs in the AGM section. Click on any AGM to view details, then follow the link to the secure AGM platform where you can register, vote, ask questions, and access meeting documents. Participation is open to all registered members.

No, AGM participation is available to all registered members. However, some premium features like priority voting and advanced engagement tools may require a Premium account.

Yes, trading of Sacco Share Capital is fully legal and regulated. Saccos are governed by The SACCO Societies Regulatory Authority (SASRA). Our platform simplifies the purchase and disposal process while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. However, guidelines may vary by SACCO, so always check specific terms.

You can track all your orders in the Orders section of your dashboard. Orders are displayed with their current status (pending, partial, completed, cancelled), filled quantities, and transaction history. You can also view detailed information for each order including associated settlements and transactions.

Yes, you can cancel pending orders that haven't been fully executed. Simply go to your Orders page, select the order, and click 'Cancel Order'. Note that partial fills cannot be reversed, and only the unfilled portion of the order will be cancelled.

Your complete transaction history is available in the Transactions section. You can filter by date range, transaction type, and status. You can also export your transaction history to CSV or PDF for record keeping and tax purposes.

You can upload various documents including identification documents, IPO subscription forms, rights issue forms, transfer forms, private sale/purchase agreements, and payment requests. Uploaded documents are securely stored and associated with your member profile for easy access.

Visit the Document Upload page, select the document type, choose the related stock (if applicable), and upload your document (PDF, JPG, JPEG, or PNG format). Uploaded documents are saved to your profile and can be viewed or deleted at any time.

A Watchlist allows you to track specific stocks without buying them. Add stocks to your watchlist to monitor their price movements, view historical performance, and get quick access to their market data. You can add or remove stocks from your watchlist anytime.

Premium users have access to advanced analytics including revenue growth charts, asset performance tracking, ratio analysis, and comparative SACCO performance data. You can analyze historical trends, view financial ratios, and compare different SACCOs using our interactive dashboards.
